   "text": "FD-302a(Rev. 5-8-10)\n'-------- 'On\n01 .\n/2026\n,Page\n2 of 3\nsomething had flown over his house from behind him, coming from the\nnortheast, and was moving away from him towards the southwest.\nThe UAP appeared low in elevation, possibly as low as 300 feet .\nHe\nesti mated it was roughly the s i ze of a large SUV based on hi s elevati on\nestimation.\nFrom -\nviewing perspective, at arm's length, the UAP\nappeared to be the size of the space between his thumb and pointer finger,\nwhich he approximated as 5 inches.\n-\ndid not thi nk he would have\nnoticed the UAP if it was a cloudy night.\n-\nfirst noticed the\nobject's movement before actually seeing its silhouette .\nWhen ­\nfirst spotted the UAP he thought it appeared almost see-through, and it had\nwhat appeared to be a haze or distortion around it.\nHe further described it\nappearing as if you were looking at it through mist; and that there were\nripples like you were looking at an object that is underwater.\nThe UAP looked like a perfect triangle, however because of his viewing\nangle, he couldn't definitively say whether it was isosceles or equilateral\nin shape.\n-\nstated the UAP could have been either dark gray or silver\nin color which would have blended into the night sky, and with the\nsurrounding distortion, it may have caused it to have the appearance of\nbeing translucent.\n-\nthought the triangle had rounded edges and\ncorners, but stated the distortion around the UAP may have made the edges\nless sharp in appearance.\nThe UAP traveled away from him and his wife with\na point forward- facing.\nAs it traveled away from them, along the trailing,\nflat , back edge, it had what appeared to be a band of silverish blue light.\n-\nhypothesized that the light could have been caused by the mode of\npropulsion for the UAP.\nThe UAP moved in a straight path at a consistent elevation.\nIt moved\nvery quickly and covered a large distance in the short time they observed\nthe UAP.\nJust before they lost sight of the UAP, the left side of the\ntriangle banked up quickly to an almost vertical orientation, but it did not\nchange path or elevation.\nThe UAP was completely silent, and -\ndid\nnot feel any rumble, static, or any other effects from the object as it\npassed over him.\n-\nresidence was near an airport and he frequently\nobserved aircraft, including private planes and helicopters, flying over his\nhouse.\nHe was very familiar with how a normal aircraft should appear and\nsound flying over his house.\n-\nwitnessed the UAP for a total of four\nseconds from when he initially saw it to when he lost sight of it to the\nsouthwest, potentially over\nThe UAP\ndisappeared from his visual sight sooner than -\nexpected it should\nhave .\n-\nstated the entirety of the observation was so quick he did\nnot have a chance to get his phone out to take a photo or video."
