While conducting observati on i n the area, I\nobserved a thermally e l evated aerial object in the same general western\nsector and along a s i milar heading as t he object observed t he previous\nnight .\nThe object appeared approximately two ridge lines f arther west t han the\nl ocation where the\nobject was observed. Due t o the increased\ndistance and terrain separation, I was unabl e t o i dentify specific physical\ncharacteristics of t he object or determine its exact configuration . The purpose of\nrecording the he licopter was t o establis h a vi sual and thermal reference\npoint for scal e, flight characteristics, and comparative size assessment .\nBased on my observation and compari son t o the Black Hawk helicopter , t he\nunidentified aerial object appeared t o be approximately hal f the size of t he\nBl ack Hawk .
