   "text": "- 1 of 3 ­\nFD-302 (Rev. 5-8-10)\nFEDERAL BUREAU OF INVESTIGATION\nDate of entry ~\nwas\ninterviewed by Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) Special Agent (SA)\nSA\nand\nAfter being advised on\nthe identities of the interviewing agents, -\nprovided the following\ninformation :\nPrior t o his current r ole\npreviously worked for\nhad\nleft the\nOn -\n2026 , -\nand\n-\nat\nat approximately 7 : 45pm and were headed to a\nl ocati on on the central/northern portion of -\nWeather condition at the\ntime was rainy with significant cloud cover. Approximately 30 minutes after\npassing through the\n8 : 00pm- 8 : 30pm),\n(approximately\nsaw two unidentified lights in the sky,\npulled over to the side o f the r oad and exited the vehicle to investigate .\n-\ndescribed the lights as \"dash\" shaped and dul l red in color t o t he\nnaked eye . The l ights moved along the ridgeline of the mountains t o his\nwest . -\nwas equipped with Night Optical Devices (NODs) and observed the\nlights through said optics as well . -\nrelayed that, despite being \"dash­\nshaped\" to the naked eye, the lights appeared \"orb- like\" or circular t hr ough\nthe NODs, with the characteristic \"NOD halo\" around them, which is typical\nwhen l ooking at a l i ght source through NODs . -\nstated that he is very\nfami liar with using NODs, as he has been using them for 25+ years and has\nmany hours of experience . -\nstated that he has astigmatism and while the\nobjects appeared \"dash- shaped\" t o him,\nstated they appeared\ntriangular or diamond- shaped, which could possibly be attributed t o ­\nastigmatism .\nAfter approximately 20 minutes, both of the aforementioned unidentified\nlights disappeared .    "text": "FD-302a (Rev. 5-8-10)\nContinuation ofFD-302 of\n_______ , On ~ ,Page\n2 of 3\nunidentified l i ght appear directly above their location and was vi sible for\napproximately 10 minutes , before i t, t oo, disappeared .\nSometi me bet ween 10 : 00pm and 11 : 00pm, -\nobserved another, simi lar\nunidentified l i ght appear approximately 600 meters (esti mated) t o the east\nof their positi on and appeared t o be approximately 500 feet above their\nvehicl e . The uni denti fied light appeared t o move t oward them and stopped\napproximately 400 meters away . A second unidentified l i ght appeared and\nmoved t oward, and then stopped in proximity of, t he first . The second l ight\nappeared t o be approximate ly 6 feet off the ground .\nAs\nwat ched the two unident ified l i ghts t o t he east , he noti ced light\ni n hi s peri pheral v i sion descend from altitude and stop in a dry wash\napproximately 100 meters behind them . Although -\ncould not di rectl y see\nthe light source , he observe d the gl ow emanating f rom t he wash .\nwatche d the glow move through the wash .\nentered their vehicle and drove up t o t he next\ni ntersecti on in attempt to get a better view of t he unidentified l ights to\nt heir east . Upon arri val , the l ights were no l onger observed . -­\n-\nreturned to their ori ginal position, but were unable t o re- acquir e\nthe unidentifi ed lights .\nwalked 10- 20 meters away from the vehicle to\nl ook around the area ; -\nremained near the vehicle.\nAt t hi s t i me , -\nadjusted t he filter on hi s NODs t o l ook at hi s watch,\nwhich displ ayed approximately 1 : 00am (estimated based on memory) . -\ns\nwatch was a\nMen's Aut omatic Analog Watch . -\nwal ked back\nt o t he vehi cle t o check hi s phone , which displayed 12 : 40am. -\nnoted the\ndiscrepancy , compared the time displ ayed on hi s watch to the time displ ayed\no n his phone and observed that the t ime o n his watch was 25 minutes ahead of\nthe time on his phone and the vehicl e ' s digital c l ock . -\nrel ayed t he\ndiscrepancy t o ■■■■■, whose digital watch displayed the same t ime as the\nphones and vehi cle c l ock .\n-\nstated that he had owned t hat watch for approximately 5 years , and i t\nhad never been off by more than 60- 90 seconds . -\nhad last checked the\nt ime o n his watch at approximately 10 : 00pm, and i t was accurate at that\nt ime . -\nstated that h i s watch was the onl y mechanical/analog/non- digital\nclock in t he vi cinity at that time and it was the o nly clock that displ ayed\na different time . -\ndi d not adjust hi s wat ch or reset t he time for 24\nhours to see i f it continued to malfunction ; the wat ch conti nued t o keep\naccurate time but remained ~5 minutes fast ."

   "text": "FD-302a (Rev. 5-8-10)\n-\nt old agents t hat he had spent a considerabl e amount o f time at a ­\nfacility looking up at t he night sky, and was fami l iar with how\nstars/ satellites / meteors l ook t o both t he naked eye and with NODs ­\nstated that the lights he observed and described were unlike anything he had\nseen before . -\nstated that the l ights he observed o n -\ndid not\nbehave like satellites, as satellites track linear across the sky, whereas\nthese did not . -\nstated t he unidentified l ights moved a round and changed\ndirection , and a l s o appeared to be as low as 6 feet off the gr ound .\nThe low- e l evation lights described\nwould have been backdropped by the mountains and be low the r e l ative hori zo n\nl ine I\nhe observed was not a UAS that he familiar with . -\nnoted no exhaust o r\ntail when these ob j ects moved, and they exhibited no a udibl e sound\nsignature . -\nattempted to observed t he objects through t hermal optics,\nbut was unsuccessful .\nnoted no physi ological effects from the events . -\nstated that the\nobservations did not induce a fear or agitation response -\nj ust cur iosity .\nconversed about thi s afterward, and given their\nbackgrounds , f ound it strange that they did not fee l fear or threatened\nduring their observations .\n-\nprovided his contact inf o rmation and was open t o further contact from\nagents ."
